Sapindus Mukorossi finds application in insecticides, cleansing agents for hair, clothes, & skin, herbal medicines for migraine, and as a surfactant. Also known as soapberry, it belongs to Sapindaceae family of Sapindus genus. Seeds of this plant can also be used for culinary uses by crushing and boiling to make liquid.
